Stopped by here after Enoura Observatory because I saw the high reviews and I’m so glad I did!

The views are gorgeous, and the food is delicious, with a really generous serving of roe on the seafood bowl They don’t have a Japanese menu, however one of the members of the staff had excellent English and was extremely helpful with taking us through the menu and ordering (it goes through a ticket machine so I recommend cash here). And after the lunch we had a great chat and he helped us take photos with the store! I wish I grabbed his name so I could give him a callout in this review but unfortunately I was in a rush to reach our next location as we didn’t realise how far it was

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know...

Nestled on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the Izu Peninsula is the Odawara Shokudo Dan restaurant. Indeed a place to be in...at any time of the year. You look out into the sea and there stands a straight and sturdy pine tree, whose leaves rustle in the wind forging music that is liberating, fresh and majestic. We had 2 simple bowls of chirashi don....filled with maguro...chutoro and delicious slices of other fish variety...including a fresh shrimp!! The fishes were so fresh and delicious...makes eating here indeed a truly wonderful and delightful experience....Yes it's unmatchable. Owner, Nomura San, was hospitable...

On the way back from Ito, I entered this restaurant, Dan, located right in front of the restaurant, just in time to stop by Suzuhiro, a kamaboko shop. They immediately noticed that we was with my child and suggested a menu that he could eat. We were also allowed to choose our seats as we liked, taking into consideration the noise that children might make. The food was very tasty. I think the price is reasonable for a tourist place. The waitstaff was lively and took pictures of our family, and we were very happy to find a good restaurant that we...

Excellent Japanese Food with a million dollar view of Sagami Bay. The sound of the ocean waves crashing on the rocks is music to my ears, so relaxing and soothing. With the glass door open, you can be one with the sea, as you savour the delicious dishes and breathe the fresh salty sea air, you feel truly in paradise. This is a perfect stop for those driving from Tokyo to Hakone. For those who don't drive you can walk a scenic route of 1.9 km from the nearest train station. I have never been to a more beautiful place than this for a meal at such low price!
