居酒屋 秀 — Restaurant in Oga

I missed the train to Akita by a few minutes and wound up here while I waited. I would not recommend this for tourists unless you have some experience with speaking Japanese and food customs, but the food was so good it made my husband cry. People watching is a very helpful talent. Come in and write your name on the list to the right. I had to get Duolingo’s help to remember how to write it in Japanese, but she had no trouble reading my name off to seat us. This was our first time at an Izakaya in general so we had not realized there was the free water sitting right next to us. They had call buttons which I knew what did but I also never pressed it because I was just taking in the vibes. They were very friendly toward us who had to use google translate to figure out the menu and order. The food was amazing. The prices were unbelievably cheap for the amount of food you get, but that’s just standard for most of Japan. They also do take credit cards, which is a bonus. 平日の開店直後でも駐車場 まあまあ混んでいました。

日替りメニューの ・刺身とミックスフライ定食 1000円を注文。

水、お茶はセルフサービス 入口で消毒。 カウンター席には仕切りして あり感染対策は万全です。

刺身は点数少ないながらも タコやサーモン、カツオなど フライ盛り合わせは エビフライと白身魚のフライ それに厚切りトンカツ。

どれも美味しかったです。

これに小鉢、漬け物、味噌汁が ついてご飯大盛り無料

ドリンク付きはかなり お得だと思います。
