Gist: tiny (2 small tables and a few stools at a counter), quirky joint making unique/eclectic burgers and artisan colas + booze also on offer. Rustic Americana kitsch decor
Pros: Interesting, non-standard burgers, prepared with obvious passion upon order special creations on rotating offer, unique garnishes lively bustling atmosphere with friendly duo staff, neighborhood folks and regulars coming and going, great vibes unique, handmade, not "super sweet and fizzy" colas & adjacent beverages
Cons: small space with only stools for sitting, not ideal for lounging comfortably if bigger-sized, delicate back, or mobility challenged definitely not designed for groups and not necessarily for families although kids welcome because small, can fill up really quickly and no space for waiting aside from outside (can reserve i think, also take out, especially if you provide your own container/dish) located in a neighborhood without readily available parking. better to come by bicycle if possible, not sure about transit links
As I understand, opened in this location a couple years ago, hours a little bit sporadic so has an "pop-up" feel
Owner Tensho-san has been running food trucks around for several years it seems
4-year-old destroyed a massive dripping Colby cheese with sweet onions burger, and enjoyed checking out the "mad scientist" light blubs, chewing on a toothpick like a gangster, and the small roasted half-cut new potatoes as side
Wifu enjoy the attention to detail with a grapefruit garnish on the plate, had one of the icy colas, and some great burger I can't remember (bacon cheeseburger I think)
I ate North Carolina pulled pork on top of burger patty, jalapeños in there as well & noticed all the eclectic design + construction materials seemingly haphazard but clearly done with affection. Also drank a hot cola latte, like chai
We enjoyed talking to the boss and seeing his entrepreneurial action and passion
Paypal or Cash, no cards as i recall (pretty standard stuff)
Verdict: definitely go there but be prepared and hit timing...
