We swung by for a coffee. When we came in they sent us to the back of the place where it is really dark and not very comfortable as in the front. That part was taken over by the staff itself. Big bright table was used as work table, and the other nice spot there was somebody eating (staff? Not staff? I don't know). We both ordered a latte but honestly the taste was not to be recommended. We also had a strawberry smoothie which was good. They offered the customer next to us CBD drops but none to us, didn't really understand why. Probably the café had more success in the early days, the seats are worn in, torn and looked they had seen better. The floor was also very dirty with dark spots. Regards to the amenities, the toilet was so filthy (same as in the rest of the restaurant) and the garbage has probably been used for something else as it had this same soot spots. I have to say it was probably one of the worst toilets in Japan I've seen! I didn't even sit down. They probably use the toilet to throw away food because it really looked like someone vomited in there. I do have to say that the staff was very friendly, I don't think the fact that the place was so run down was their fault so hence...

I was thrilled that its all vegan and got the Domburi bowl and carrot cake. Both really tasty!
I ordered a drink as well and on the English menu got butterfly pea with lemon [ice] i realised after this was a herbal addition to water that changes colour as I thought i was getting a lemonade style thing! Note for other customers this is extra healthy water with a very mild flavour.
I think the only thing I would constructively share is perhaps checking if the customer may want their drink before food or food first.
I noticed that everyone received there drinks after food and I was quite Thirsty/ unsure if my order was received because of the incredible multi tasking!
I would eat...
Read moreAwesome vegan spot right near the station. Went once for dinner and once for breakfast as it was a stones throw from our hotel.
Unfortunately, they seemed to be out of stock on quite a few menu items which was a shame, so ended up with our second or third choices on both occasions but they were still delicious and filling. And I understand that demand for vegan food often outstrips supply in Japan, so forgivable but still sad I didn't get to try the vegan hotdog!
Lovely staff and owner who had a brief chat about medical cannabis with me, great to see places like this pushing the conversations forward in areas of the world that haven't made as...
