We’ve been to Ishikawa’s restaurant a handful of times now and every time, we leave his shop feeling full and healthy. The shop’s interior is very welcoming. Just a heads up that there are only counter seats- no tables and the inside of the shop is a little bit narrow. Anyways, the food here is delicious and the only meat that is served is fish. Ishikawa-san and his staff are friendly and like to explain the dishes in detail. The are also eager to answer any questions we may have about the food/dish preparations. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you come by. Lunch prices are a bit cheaper than dinner, but, both dinners and lunches are exceptionally delicious!

We stopped here on a whim while looking for some vegetarian friendly options and I’m so glad we did! The prices were a little higher than your average place, but the quality of the ingredients, the uniqueness of the dishes, and the care of the owners was very much worth it! This is one of our fave meals of our trip. The lunch set comes with so many tasty bites of food, it was an absolute feast, and every bit was unique. Outstanding food!
