I thought from the photo in the elevator this was going to be a swanky restaurant. It isn't. It's casual and the prices reflect it (price are reasonable)
The best item we had was the eggplant 5 stars
The chicken katsu was a 3. I prefer a more tender chicken I ordered the special 2100 yen set it came with sashimi, miso soup, some meat dish on salad, sweet grilled salmon, and tempura. The tempura started off strong but if you let it sit,. It goes down in quality. So eat it right away. I didn't and had troubles after. Chawan mushi rates a 4 Most of it was a 3 ultimately. Was not really a fan of the uni mussel thing. It was over cooked and dry for me.
I'd go back for the eggplant though.
Service was friendly. They did not really speak English but we ordered with relatively little issue. There was no English menu so we did Google translate it.
Parking is out front but they also have an underground parking lot if you...

Visited in May. I really wanted to eat tempura, Tempura in Okinawa, as people in the interior imagine it, Where can I eat tempura in central Okinawa? I found this place when I was looking for it. For lunch, there is a bit of a queue in front of the restaurant.
Conclusion, Unfortunately, the tempura was neither Okinawan nor Uchinanchi, I thought it was a restaurant for the elderly. The soba tea was delicious.
I ordered three things. Tempura set meal Tonkatsu set (lunch only) Kanpachi (sashimi only)
The tonkatsu was soft and tender, I liked it better than Tonkatsu Taro. The sesame seeds were made with a plastic device that you had to turn and rub, I wish they would use a small mortar, I wish they would use a small mortar. It's a pity that the sesame seeds didn't have even a millimetre of flavour.
The tempura was made with a vibrating device, The batter was good, but it seemed over-fried and the batter was too thick, The batter was too hard because it was over-fried and the batter was badly blended. The batter was as crispy as the outside of a sata andagi.
The food itself was tasty, The kampachi sashimi...
Read moreThis restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of Plaza House Shopping Center. My husband tried 'Wateishoku' and I tried 'Hanakakozen'. Both of them were very delicious and worth the price. It includes little tiny dessert and coffee/tea. Coffee and tea are self-served so you can help yourself. The total price was about 3,300 yen. I would definitely come back and try...
