We arrived on a Friday night without a reservation, and fortunately, this was one of the few places still accommodating walk-ins. We were seated in under 30 minutes, a relief, as some of us were getting hangry. The service was quick, and the food arrived promptly.

信濃大町駅周辺で長く地元民に愛される焼肉店。 駅周辺には他にも長く続く焼肉店が数店あるが、コチラが1番人気ではないだろうか。 大型ホテルの前で大通りから目につきやすい立地条件もあるかもしれないが、いつも多くの客で賑わっている印象。

今回は約20年ぶりくらいの利用になる。 店内は昔と変わらない雰囲気だが、ロースターなどの設備が違和感無くリニューアルされている。

今回コチラを久しぶりに利用した目的は「子袋(豚)」を食べたくなったから。

長野県中信エリアの焼肉店は数多訪問していると思うが、「子袋」を提供しているお店はほとんどない。 そもそもの話、人生で初めて「コブクロ」を口にしたのがこのお店であり、コチラの「子袋」を超える「コブクロ」には未だ出会えていない。

独特の赤いタレは辛味が強いが甘さとコクのバランスが絶妙で、「子袋」だけしか食べられなくても満足できる……と言うのはちょっと言い過ぎかもしれないが、そのくらいオススメ！
