Agu No Kakurega Manza — Restaurant in Onna

Japanese people are really nice, but this experience was kinda sketchy. Shaubu is about $40 per person. There was two of us, so $40 x 2 and we ordered one beer and one juice. I understand there are table charges in Japan, but this time we got two extra items charged on our bill that was not served (tea and a manza glass). I ordered Agu pork shabu shabu. However, I think it’s either not Agu pork or just a lower quality grade. I had my first experience of Agu pork at another restaurant in Naha. The fat smelled and tasted like Italian Parma ham. There was no strong smell at all.

The Agu pork I had here doesn’t taste similar at all and there was a slight smell as well.

Service is good; the waitresses were friendly with us. There was English menu provided.

We came here because a local recommended us and we also wanted to eat agu pork shabushabu! Food was delicious and relatively large portion. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a male staff who can speak good English so pretty tourist-friendly.

Lots of locals came to dine at this restaurant. It was almost full all the time. One tip is if you want to sit at a normal table, you need to make a reservation. If not, you only get the Japanese style seats and your legs...
