※With 5★ being the highest rating 【Overall】★★★★★ Would come back again if given the chance. 【Food】★★★★★ My order: 福盛べっちゃラーメン (Beccha ramen fukumori) Price: 750 Delicious Onomichi Ramen with soy sauce based soup. The difference between this restaurant and others is their use of seaweed as toppings for the dish. Overall the soup is nicely balanced with light soy sauce taste and pork fats on top. There is spicy condiments to spice things up as well. The ramen also tastes delicious spicy! 【Price】★★★★★ Price is really reasonable and is around 1000 en for most of the dishes. It’s quite similar to how a normal Ramen shop would put a price tag on its food. 【Operation/Atmosphere】★★★★ Shop owner always greets the guests well. During lunch time/dinner time you might need to line up a bit but since people tend to eat fast, it’s not that long until you can be seated in the store. There is no parking for the restaurant so you come by car you would need to find coin parking nearby. The shop is quite small though but as long as the food is good that does not matter much. Apparently some famous people also dined at this restaurant before (as judging from the signs decorated in the shop’s wall)

‼️ I was honestly skeptical by the numbers of review - then when we got in I saw that they were all ‘bribed’ (you get free gyozas for 5 stars review, review that you have to give before even trying any food) I have to take away 1 star for this strategy which I honestly think is dishonest Now - if I have to judge the actual food without any hope for a sort of reward - it was honestly really good, which is even more surprising 🤔 We tried the local ramen which had one of the best noodles in terms of texture that I’ve tried, the broth was quite greasy but sometimes it’s what you need 😂 The homemade kimchi with spinach was a nice addition to the dish And we also tried the fresh oysters which were enormous Cherry on top - the menu has a wide range of different options and it was very cheap as well! So the conclusion is - this place imo deserves its google rating, but surely can do without a shady strategy to obtain it

I want to state first that I wasn't mistreated, but service was a little bit rude, first I was put on an isolated seat next to the access door, I asked for the English menu but never got it, instead they served me the house ramen without me even asked for it. Ok it's a ramen restaurant, I asked for a beer, no problem there and then they gave me the check. So I understand it, "please eat and leave". And that's what I did. Oh! and no, there was nobody waiting in line outside. So that wasn't the reason. This is my personal experience so I don't recommend this place. I received the mythical passive aggressive xenophobic but polite japanese treatment that some tourists talked about.

We came here for a big bowl of ramen the night before cycling the Shimanami Kaido and we weren't disappointed. The ramen was amazingly tasty and we left feeling very full. There was also an English menu which helped a lot. The owner seems like a really nice guy and I hope the restaurant continues to be a success! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a good meal.

Loved our dinner here! We had grilled dumplings, the oyster ramen, and the Betcha set meal (subbed with spicy miso ramen). The set meal was generous and filled my husband up nicely after biking the Shimanami Kaido. Everything was super flavourful, the oysters were very fresh, and the fried chicken nice and crispy. Altogether a 100% satisfying meal for a fair price.

You can add succulent fresh oysters on to the tasty ramen with good texture and flavorsome pork . Like all other ramen places nearby , they all claim they are No 1. But the fresh oysters make this ramen unique. The oysters on the side were in a sour source , not as good as the ones in the ramen . The 餃子was very good too .
