Chidori Bunka — Restaurant in Osaka

This was a cozy cafe which was part of a well-designed building that had other businesses, spaces to hang out, and a small gallery with a big art installation.

The barista was very friendly and recommended art and other cafes in the area—the whole neighborhood is filled with street art and worth taking time to explore.

The food and coffee were great, and it was a peaceful place for me and my friend to stay for a bit to take a break from walking around. There were a few other people here studying, reading, or working on art. There’s also a shelf full of interesting architecture/design books...

Chidori Bunka is a calm, pleasant space in Kitakagaya. It feels homely, with a rich atmosphere often energized by a plethora of enriching events.

I highly recommend anyone to check this spot out. There is almost always some cool art to see.
