Craft Beer & Pizza Imazato Osaka, Japan — Restaurant in Osaka

Used to be a child friendly place, but that all changed. Do not recommend to go here with children as the owners will just tell you off and ask you to take a walk with your child. When you try to confront them they get all defensive and do not listen to feedback. Such a shame, this place had good potential as per the previous location, but they do not accept criticism.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately you are missing my point. Reading your message I know sarcasm isn’t your best practice, neither is your level of English, but allow me to elaborate our experience on the said day.

When we were visiting our son did not cry “non stop” as you claim it to be. He was not even crying, but merely annoyed. As you have raised two children I would have thought you ought to know the difference. Your husband’s behavior was uncalled for, especially the threatening behavior outside of the bar towards my wife. As business owners you need to understand what customer feedback is and accept criticism, but your husband instead wanted to have a brawl. I guess I don’t need to tell you this but in Japan this kind of behavior is not accepted.

Our children may be louder than your average Japanese child, but under no circumstances would we not pay attention to our surroundings, or other customers for that matter.

Your reply to my message shows you are still not willing to accept feedback, perhaps due to the stubbornness of your husband? As he seems to be the hostile one. Such a shame, but life can be that way.

Been a regular customer ever since I went for the first time a few years ago. I love this place! Love the owners, love the other customers, love the atmosphere, the food, the drinks. I've brought friends, coworkers, family. The owners here work their butts off to make sure that every customer's needs are met. On busy days, it gets very hectic, but they never fail to see me off when I leave. Just the other night it was very crowded and the owner was busy, and I had to leave. I got about 2 minutes towards the station when I felt a hand on my shoulder from behind. It was the owner making sure to run me down and say thank you for coming. I couldn't believe it! That's the kind of place Imazato is, and will always be. Don't let self serving reviews by people who've been told to write a review by ONE disgruntled customer deter you from coming here. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately didnt live up to expectations... Pizza looked great, but flavor was lacking... sauce could be more flavorful... some toppings were not available. Couldnt order any burgers that day because they only do it on certain days? Wierd concept. No real drink options for those who dont drink beer... i understand its a craft beer joint, but if we bring guest who dont drink beer, or if they dont want to spend 1000¥ on a small craft beer, then their options are very limited... The lemon sour was just too sweet. Owner was cooking something that was burning everyones eyes in the dining area... maybe save that for after customers leave...
