Pretty decent sandwiches in a country that does not do sandwiches at all (understandable in that a decent chunk of the population has a moderate to strong dislike of sandwiches). Lots of cheese, lots of honey (I don't really like honey in my sandwiches, but that's me). They only really do cheese melts though. They don't do deli meats / cold cuts at all (probably for the same reason most places in Japan don't, which is because of the low quality and high cost of deli meats / cold cuts here). I would give them six stars if they could find a way to get me a nice Italian style sandwich loaded with deli meats at a reasonable price 🥪 🌟

The interior has a cozy wooden vibe and there is Mexican/Spanish music playing while you smell the freshly sizzled bacon and cheese being melted on the large open plan hot plate they have in the centre. The also serve coffee, but it’s not their speciality. Definitely recommend to try if your in Osaka.

Excellent. Staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. The menu is limited to 4 items plus some seasonal specials but it is very filling and tasty.

The special ingredient is honey and also the 8 hour cooked beef which is so soft.

If you need energy to work hard or just want a really great sandwich, Hi Sandwich is highly recommended.
