Nene Chicken — Restaurant in Osaka

A waste of money. It's been a long time since I've given some place a one star review and I usually try to give it the benefit of the doubt, but the food from here was very underwhelming. We did take out and sure, food is much fresher when dining in, but we've ordered plenty of Korean fried chicken through third party delivery services and everything was still hot, fresh, and crispy. So we know crunchy and fresh KFC is possible. The appetizers we got were mozzarella sticks and the honey butter french fries. The mozzarella sticks were the only edible things but it was still underwhelming and there wasn't even the slightest cheese pull. The French fries were the worst french fries I think I've ever had. They were so flimsy, cold, and I barely tasted any honey butter. It's placed in a wrapped up brown paper bag so I'm not surprised that they were sad and soggy. And lastly, the chicken, which is supposed to be the star, was awful. DRY and OVERCOOKED. White meat is so fragile already and it was easily ruined. We ate what we could cause we spent almost $50 USD on this meal and didn't want to spend money ordering somewhere else. Horrible experience. I can only hope dine in is better, but I wouldn't even...

Had a sampler platter. Which we both have to get, couldn't get something different from one another. The food was just okay. The lighter coated one was different from what I had before. Otherwise, everything else was okay.

We didn't know any japanese, so it was majorly hard to communicate, but the staff who helped us tried her best to communicate with us. Big plus to her!
