One Room Cafe & Coffee Roastery — Restaurant in Osaka

The best pancakes I’ve ever had, better than ones that are insta viral at the moment and better than any I’ve had visiting America. These are proper soufflé pancakes and so fluffy and delicious, plus the coffee is actually incredible too - worth coming here just for a cup - they have a take out window too. These staff have good English and there is English on the menu too, and the cafe is super cosy and inviting. I think the only reason it doesn’t have huge queues is because it’s in Shin Osaka and thus a bit out of the way, but so worth coming over here than waiting at well known places like Happy Pancake etc....

Sometimes in life you come across a real gem of a place, this was the case today. I had a hamburger cheese omelette with tomato accompanied with a tasty chicken broth. All of which was very flavoursome and filling. I also ordered their pancakes and I have to say I have never had pancakes as fluffy as these, they literally melt in your mouth. We were looking for a quick stop before taking the shinkansen and found this gem! This coffee shop is located near the Shin-Osaka station and is easily walkable. We tried the souffle pancakes and their hamburg omelette lunch set and they were both delicious. Their coffee was some of the best we had on our trip to Japan.
