I ordered the pudding dorayaki — a soft, rice-flour pancake encasing a thick, golden custard that tasted like childhood and temple bells at sunset. It was delicate but bold, nostalgic but new. Next came the mitarashi dango, warm and glossy, each skewer coated in a sweet soy glaze that clung like a memory you didn’t want to let go of. The air was hushed, the garden danced in late afternoon light, and for a while, I forgot the world outside. There’s something sacred in sweets made slowly, with care — and something healing in a place that lets you simply be.

In the peaceful shade of the trees the teahouse feels even more chilled out. The calm surroundings make it a perfect spot to unwind. Inside, it’s got a really relaxing vibe, like a little getaway from the outside especially in a hot sunny day.
