This cute, small restaurant was the perfect place to eat on a rainy day in Otsu. It was not busy so we had the place pretty much to ourselves. We had the nabeyaki udon, takoyaki, karaage, and the omurice. All very well priced and extremely delicious.
I would be remiss not to mention the friendliness and hospitality of the staff there. It was staffed by a multigenerational family of women. Minori waited our table, she was so nice and accommodating. We chatted about travel and general interests. She gave us some complimentary treats and drinks as we chatted. I was smiling the whole time around the amazing food and great company 😄

We also visited the little temple near Lake Biwa. We'd love to visit Otsu again when we come...
