Sanada Coffee — Restaurant in Sagamihara

Although the name says coffee, it looks more like a live band night club kind of place inside. It might be more fun during an event. Their coffee is not so special. Ordered an espresso soda that looked nothing like the picture they advertised, and it took them a very long time to serve it although they had no active customers. I love espresso tonics and this was NOT good. It was full of foam and went flat immediately to reveal a very empty cup that tasted like they used sweet canned soda. Hopefully the other drinks are better. After reading the owners response of my review I changed my rating. I appreciate them reaching out. I will try them again...

The coffee was decent but the pancake left me so confused. It’s too voluminous for my liking, it felt more like a bread than a pancake so I wasn’t able to finish it. Maybe it was only during our visit but the caramelized oranges were sour I didn’t eat any. 休日の14時過ぎに、クルマで通りがかりに利用しました。店横の駐車場に停められたので助かりました。店内は落ち着いた内装でお洒落な雰囲気です。料理はタンドリーチキンを頂きました。結構美味しかったのですが、個人的にはもう少しスパイスの効いたものの方が好みでした。

以下は、少し不満に感じた点です。

①店員同士の会話がとにかくうるさかったです。ほぼ1時間ずっとペチャクチャ喋っていたのには呆れてしまいました。仲が良いのは良いことですし、業務上のことであればまだ理解もできますが、殆どはどうでも良い世間話です。

せめてマスクを着用するとか、どうしても喋りたければ、厨房の裏で客に聞こえないように話すとか、もう少し配慮をしていただければと思います。

②店内BGMが少々煩いです。よく言えば陽気、悪く言えば騒がしくて品のない曲が多く、かなり損をしていると感じました。

酔客の多い夜の時間帯ならまだしも、昼下がりの時間帯に流す音楽ではなかったです。音楽に詳しい人に、もっと落ち着いた曲を選んでもらった方が良いかもしれません。

③食後のコーヒーがなかなか出てきませんでした。特に急いではいなかったのでそれは構わないのですが、肝心のコーヒーがそれほど美味しくなかったのは非常に残念でした。(初心者のバイトの人が作ったものかもしれません)

加えて、美少女アニメのキャラクターの描かれた変なマグカップで提供されてきたことにも非常に困惑しました。お皿やカップは、店のセンスやこだわりが現れるものですから、普通はもう少しこだわって選ぶものなのではないかと感じました。

最後にまとめると、都会的な洗練さがあまり感じられず、色々な所が少しずつ雑な印象の店でした。それがこの店の良いところかもしれませんが、合う人と合わない人がいると思...
