The best steak is at a restaurant in Urawa, Japan called Girasole. Girasole means sunflower in Italian. As you can see it has sunflower decorations inside the restaurant.
This is an izakaya Italian restaurant. The location is a little bit farther away from the JR. It is about a ten-minute walk from Urawa Station.
I highly recommend the assortment of three kinds of steak. It was great and very tasty. It was perfectly cooked and a very good quality beef.
This dish depends on which meats are available for that day. Therefore it is fresh and might be different each time you go. It has grape beef, Japanese rib-eye steak, and rump steak. The Grape beef was unique because they fed the cows with grape pulp daily.
My husband liked the Grilled chicken the best. The herb mayonnaise sauce was great. And I would suggest baguette slices to accompany it.
The service was a little slow when we were dining there but we appreciated the attentive waitress and the food was worth the wait.
On our second visit, we tried something new. We had the Mojito cocktail, the grilled oysters, and the crab pasta.
Everything was delicious and the flavor was wonderful. However, perhaps a little less salt would have made it perfect for me.
