Jacksonville Finest Burgers — Restaurant in Sapporo

The line from Samuel Jackson's character in Pulp Fiction sum it up perfectly, "Mmmhmm. This IS a tasty burger!" A burger with truly authentic American taste using Hokkaido quality ingredients.

I ordered the Western BBQ burger and my wife ordered the Niseko Cheese Burger. If you look at the photos of the burgers below, they taste as good as they look and are worth every yen spent. I also appreciate that they provide a paper pocket to place the burger into so it can catch any sauce that may drip as you eat.

The man who I assume to be the owner, was friendly, as was his male staff. The female was not friendly at all and seemed annoyed to serve us. The burger itself was a good size, the bun fresh, however the meat was extremely greasy and was full of gristle. I had to leave a quarter of the patty on the side of my plate. The drinks were huge and the shoestring fries good, if a bit small portioned. Maybe I'm picky but it's my third time going and it's been disappointing each time. :(

The portion size was a little on the small side, but taste-wise this was a classy burger. If I had chosen to eat at the restaurant rather than order it to go, the experience would have been somewhat better, so I'm cutting them a bit of slack in terms of how the burger and fries tasted a good 20 mins or so after pick-up. If you're a big eater I'd recommend ordering something else in addition, but otherwise, they did a decent job in terms of quality...
