Miyabi — Restaurant in Sapporo

Lovely cafe with a focus on 'rice'. The set includes many small appetizers of seasonal ingredients, a main of your choice, and the star is the rice!

Each portion of rice is cooked in an earthenware only after you order. The taste and aroma of freshly cooked rice is wonderful! You can choose from the normal white rice (Hokkaido's yumepirika - my wife really loves this one!), another variation (sorry forgot the name), or from 4-5 types of seasoned rice (tried the butter corn one - delicious!).

They also mill the rice directly in the store. We were there when they operated the machine. The rice served cannot get fresher than this, can it? (Of course not milling rice portion by portion.... They probably could, but that may take too long XD).

Staff were very friendly, polite, and attentive. The one that took care of us could also speak English. Note on the coffee: classic Hokkaido style (= very dark roast and bitter).

There are some seasonal food including rice.Ordered Cod and vegetable with black vinegar sauce was soft taste. Several appetizer on one tray was beautiful. But other than that, this year's rice cooked by earthenware pot was very delicious. I definitely go again in...

8月末まで提供予定の、まるごと桃パフェが最高でした。桃1個丸ごと！どーんと入っています。ジューシーで糖度の高い甘い桃に、更にロイヤルミルクティのアイスクリーム、フランボワーズのソルベ、お米とミルクのブランマンジェ、紅茶のジュレなども複雑に絡み合って美味しさを引き立ててくれます。あと、丸ごと桃の他に角切り桃のコンポートも入ってて、めちゃ満足しました。桃好きには絶対食べてほしいパフェです。 ドリンクとセットで1650円で、ドリンクは紅茶を頼んだのですが、香りが飛んでしまっていてイマイチだったので、単品（1490円）でもよかったかな…。 15時からしか提供していなく、桃パフェ目当てだと、店内の席が空いていても15時からしか入店させてもらえません。外に桃パフェ目当てで行列ができました。ここは席が空いてるんだから入店させてほしいなぁ…。 店内はコロナ対策で席数を減らしており、以前よりも隣の席との密着度が軽減されています。 客層はカップルか女性客のみでしたね。カフェタイムでも炊き込みご飯があるのでスイーツを食べない方はそちらを選ぶことも可能です。 支払は電子マネーOKで、クレジットカードは不可。駐車場はないので近隣のコインパ...
