PLANT SATO COFFEE — Restaurant in Sapporo

Quaint coffee shop at the corner of the road. Walked to this place from a nearby soup curry restaurant for dessert & coffee after lunch. We got seated quickly (2 pax) & english menu is available. Tried their house specialty blend coffee (less acidic option), iced mocha & their lemon cake. Their other desserts were actually pretty expensive. Coffee was nice & aromatic, iced mocha had just the right amount of chocolate. Lemon cake wasn’t excessively sweet & it looks really pretty. Atmosphere was quite noisy as their were groups of middle-aged ladies telling their “life stories” to their friend groups. Toilet smelt a bit...

The coffee shop is cozy, warming, especially when I visited during the winter months. Décors are homey, and I love the front booth where it displays all the coffee beans and baked goods.

We tried different types of single origins, all of which are nutty, aromatic, with a full after-taste, exactly what we were looking for in a cup of high-quality coffee. We also ordered a hot chocolate, which had a beautiful cocoa flavour unlike other places. Definitely worth a try.
