We arrived at 5:05 PM, just 5 minutes after their dinner shift started, but the restaurant was already full, and we had to wait about 30 minutes to get in. If you want to secure a spot in the first round without waiting, I’d suggest arriving 5-10 minutes earlier.

The menu is straightforward, offering just 8 sets with different cuts of pork. I highly recommend the premium fillet—it’s incredibly soft and tender while still retaining the rich flavor of the pork. To balance the richness of the cutlet, the restaurant provides self-served iced tea and fresh cabbage, which are great for cutting through the oil.

We went in during dinner time and the owner and the server saw us but both seems to have ignored us and no greetings. After we sat down, we didn't get tea cups, which we had to then ask for. While mistakes can happen, things added up and created a weird vibe, especially since Japanese customers seemed to receive a warmer welcome. You should observe it!

The food was decent, but it shouldn’t be exaggerated as “life-changing,” as some comments suggest. I did see some red spots in one of the pieces. I left that piece alone. I was surprised by the amount of soup they served. It was one scoop max.

Absoltely loved the food. Staffs were very friendly. I saw some comments that the meet was not properly cooked, but that was not my case. Maybe because the texture of the donkatsu is different from conventional ones? I was worrying about the rendering of the fat (I heard that the frying temp of this place is lower than conventional) before eating, but no doubt, absolutely fantastic donkatsu. Even tonjiru (miso soup with pork) was perfect. Maybe top 3 donkatsu I ever had in my life. Will definitely visit again.
