This is a great place to go and experience conveyer belt fed sushi. Once you enter, you are met with a computer and text that is all in Japanese language. On the left, the red button translates to the table, and the one on the right blue translates to counter, choose either, then click ticket (yellow) at the bottom and it will spit out a ticket with your number on it. Wait, and they will call your number, then you will scan it on the white scanner, and it too will spit out a number, and with this, you have your seat/table assignment. Each row has a number range, find your number, and find the range your number is in, and walk to your assigned seat. The menu is on the table, and it will ask if your ticket matches with what it shows on the screen. After you confirm, it will switch to another meny that is all in japanese and has one button with "English" on it. Choose this to switch to english or go with the normal japanese menu. It's pretty easy to order. Just click on the items in the menu, and it pop up on the right side of the menu, and when you're done choosing items, click order and wait for your items to arrive. It's quite fun to watch the arm open and your food roll onto the rollers by the side of your table....
Read moreSushiro is a great place to get sushi in Japan. It doesn't get more Japanese or more efficient than great, fresh conveyor sushi. In case you didn't know how this place works, you will be seated at a booth and left to your own devices. Grab your cup from above the conveyor and make some matcha tea with the matcha on the table and the hot water spout under the conveyor(use chopsticks to stir), grab 2 small dishes from above the conveyor and put soy sauce and pickled ginger in them(both on the table), grab your sushi from the conveyor and eat! White and yellow plates are 100 yen (about $1 currently) and the premium dishes aboard the black plates with gold glitter are 280 yen. DON'T GRAB PLATES ON THE RED TRAYS AS THEY ARE SPECIALLY ORDERED. To order something specially for yourself use the touchscreen, which will alert you when your special order is approaching your table. There is an English option for the touchscreen. Seriously a good deal for sushi and the best sushi I...
Read moreWas craving some sushi so search for a nearby sushi restaurants and I’m glad they have a sushiro chain restaurant here. It’s near Sasebo station within like 7 minute walk and it’s close to the jetty/harbour. Went there on a Tuesday and there was a lot of people. Love the taste of the salmon and shrimp here maybe because it’s near the seaside so I think the taste it’s a bit different from the usual chain that I go to in my city. It’s within the shopping area district so you could easily go shopping or take a walk around once you’ve...
