I have got to say I was disappointed after reading all the favorable reviews. I decided to have the Ebishio Ramen with the BBQ Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl set. Presentation was nice, but I can't say much for the food. The ramen noodles were nicely done and medium thickness...good, but the soup tasted like a watered down cream of mushroom soup. The taste threw off my pleasure of the noodles and desire to finish the broth which I normally would. Read moreThis is a small ramen shop with very delicious ramen. First thing I really noticed was the handmade pottery bowls that they serve the ramen in. They're very classy looking and fun to eat ramen out of. Ramen is very delicious and it seems a little healthier than most ramen shops. There wasn't as much oil in the ramen. Read moreNot your usual ramen, I mean this in a good way. The taste is definitely unique compared to the usual joints like Shin Shin and Ichiran. I got the creamy crab ramen, which I only found here and never found at any other ramen place.
It's considerably near from Sasebo station, around 10-15 minutes walk. We arrived there around 11:10am before their opening time of 11:30. We were lucky to arrive early because a few minutes later people started showing up. So we were the first ones in and got served quickly.
