This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing, always surprising you with special daily options. Food is pretty good and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Sasebo. They take credit cards for 3000¥ and over and they have different menus for dinner.

Off the beaten path in Sasebo, but worth venturing outside the main strip. Set menu options come with your starter, main, and a dessert. Every item I saw come out from the kitchen was gorgeous, and made me want to order it (including the drinks!) the decor and atmosphere was great. I would definitely go here on a date if my wife was in the area!

My husband and I absolutely adore Cafe Five! Trying their weekly specials has become a beloved tradition for us. Every week, we eagerly anticipate their Instagram post to discover the week’s special, and we have tried a delightful variety of dishes, from pastas to curries. Each dish has been consistently amazing.

The freshness of the food is outstanding, and you can feel the love the chefs put into their cooking, right in front of you. Even during busy times, the wait is absolutely worth it. We love watching the kitchen staff in action as they prepare the food.

The team at Cafe Five is incredibly kind and welcoming.

We love the commitment to using local vegetables, meat, and seafood in their dishes—this ensures the highest quality and taste in every bite.

Cafe Five has truly become a special place for us, and we look forward to many more visits...

This is a local gem. Maybe a diamond. Great for a date night. Awesome takeaways / take out. Even their gift sets (dressings etc.) are amazing - we received one from a friend, & the dressings lasted awhile as easy additions to flair up home cooking. Super grateful to the friend who introduced us to this place and the friend who gave us the gift set. Can't wait to bring family here...
