I actually didn't expect to like this place as much as I did. Very Showa era in terms of food and presentation, but I like a bit of retro. On arrival we stopped by for some coffee and cake, which was great. When we left Sendai we stopped by again. I had the grilled egg sandwich this time. Tasty sandwich, and some obvious care had been spent on the little salad that went with it, which was an unexpected surprise as well. Try and get a table, as the counter stools are quite uncomfortable.

Conveniently located near the shinkansen gate. They have a nice set of toast sandwich and coffee. The sandwich also accompanied with coffee jelly and mini salad. The Keyaki Syphon coffee is also the specialty of the shop, and I really like it. Great for breakfast or brunch while waiting for the train. They also have Indonesian kopi luwak. It's expensive, but really good. ☕

Getting a place to relax for your next train, this is the place. Can be pricey but it’s convenient. Good quality vanilla ice cream and nice old time favorite, Anmitsu. Great deals if paired with drinks. Siphoned coffee taste great full body, good aroma, and enough for 2 cups.

The coffee in this places sucks to the core. What are they ? Exhibitors of loose stooled diarrhea or advertisers or cough potion ? They bring an entire siphon of cheap, poorly percolated bad coffee to table. foood wasn’t too bad but service from the sewers. Yucks....
