My sister always talks about the long lines at Sushi Tetsu every time she’s visits Sendai, so after visiting Ryusendo, we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the line was indeed long, but it moved quickly.Our server spoke English well and recommended the Chef’s sushi platter, sampler of different types of sushi, including my favorites uni, unagi, and toro (fatty tuna). We were led to our counter seats and were handed an English menu. The speciality of the store is their sushi but we decided to try their conger eel. Despite it not being their specialty, it was delicious. We also ordered a serving of fatty tuna and indeed, their sushi was amazing. Our dinner ended with a scoop of strawberry sorbet which was really refreshing.
The waiters and waitresses, while not fluent in English, was trying their best to assist us. They were also very friendly in helping us navigate the menu.
