I was surprised to find shrimp broth noodles/dipping noodles つけそば in Sendai, so I had to try them! I ordered the Ajitama Ebi Tsukesoba 味玉海老つけそばand Ebi Soba 特製海老そばがツン, and added two shrimp wontons to each bowl, along with a side of gyoza.
The first dish that arrived was the shrimp gyoza, which was hot and pretty good, with a thin skin and juicy filling. Between the two noodle dishes, I personally preferred the dipping noodles—the broth was rich and flavourful. Overall, the quality was quite high, though not exactly mind-blowing.
Ordering is done manually in the traditional way, and the menu is only in Japanese, so keep...

The egg was a bit disappointing, but otherwise I was very pleased. Add the free shrimp rice during lunch (weekdays) and it was...
