I did a take out of a charcoal grilled beef tongue lunch box from this restaurant. I was really looking forward to try this local delicacy but I was very disappointed as the meat served was tough and chewy. I tried a couple of pieces, then had to throw the rest out. I can’t believe they charge ¥1763 for 6 little pieces of beef tongue that were basically inedible. For that price I would have expected the beef quality to be of a higher standard and they even charged me ¥3 for a plastic bag without asking me if I wanted a plastic bag or not (I realise this is a minimal amount but I already had a bag and I hate plastic waste). Anyways, I went to the restaurant the next day to share my feedback, the cook’s response was “can I make you another identical dish?” He never indicated whether I would have to pay for this "identical dish" or not nor did he offer a refund. Beware of extra charge in paying foreign credit card here!!!!!

Had supper with my husband and used an American credit card, Visa card. The bill was in US $ and didn’t think too much. What I learned later was that they added 3.75% charge to pay in US dollar. I didn’t ask to pay in US $ but they processed the bill in the way they could charge more on the bill. What a scammer.

Don’t go this place, the food is not special and there are other options for similar food.

If you do eat here make sure NOT to pay using their currency conversion system, which adds extra charge!!!! You have to tell them that you want to pay in local currency/yen, otherwise they will use this sly system.

The food is OK but the attitude of the crew is so bad ,especially for foreign customers (no English speaking). We came here with expectation as our first meal in Japan but they really made us down. They didn't give us とろろ so we were not able to enjoy our "tororo meshi" (muddy yam on rice) as other customers do!
