TEDDY'S DINER — Restaurant in Sendai

Hungry for something other than Japanese, my friend and I looked up a local burger spot in Sendai and found Teddy’s Diner. The owner, Kenny, recommended his day's special, a cheeseburger with homemade sour cream and chili with a side of fries and onion rings. It sounded good to the both of us, so we ordered it.

The burger was legitimately tasty, messy, and absolutely delicious. He also has a range of beers and mixed drinks available to quench your thirst or if you just want to spend some time relaxing. It also helps that Kenny was friendly and a great guy to chat with, in English or Japanese!

Had the monthly special, loco moco style, diner style, hash potatoes, topped with a fried egg. Ordered additional Onion rings.

The burger was nice and juicy, fries and onion rings were crispy and not oily at all. For a price of ~ 1200 Yen it is reasonable given the quality of the food you get.

12/10 will come again. Loved it.

An authentic American style burger joint in Sendai. The taste is out of the world: the beef patty is thick and juicy, the vegetables are fresh, the fried potatoes are crispy. I especially like the pickles. Price wise it's worth the experience.
