HAMA-SUSHI Shimada — Restaurant in Shimada

I've never had a bad experience in this restaurant until today. They had us waiting for long and there were available tables, but the waiters had not cleaned them!! Then when we got our table, the orders took very long time to arrive and they sent the wrong sushis. We have ordered the salmon avocado and instead they sent the shrimp avocado, twice!!! And the cheese potatoes never arrived, so we decided to ask for the check out and pay. When we were driving away I double checked the receipt and noticed that that have charged 3 plates of ¥150 each that we didn't ordered. We didn't go back because we had to go somewhere else. But we remembered that while we were waiting, an old lady was complaining about her receipt as well. She was charged something...

I find Hama-Sushi to be a good kaiten sushi place. It's technically no longer "kaiten" in that there's no conveyor belt with premade dishes going around. Now, you order on a tablet and it shoots to your table on a linear belt. This is still a convenient way to have a meal while having flexibility in terms of the amount you eat since you order the number of small portions you desire. It's important to remember (or appropriately set expectations) that kaiten sushi is not the same as having a meal at a high quality sushi restaurant, rather it's more like "fast-food" sushi. 店内は改装されキレイになったけど、とにかく間違いやトラブルが多い。行くと何かある、という状態。頼んだ物と違うものが来る、来ていないのに「お届け済」になっている、頼んだ物が待てど暮せど来ない…等々。以前はお皿の数で会計だったので間違っていても多く支払うことは無かったが改装されてから 注文した時点で会計加算されていくので来ない商品を見過ごせない。 酷いときは その時期限定メニューで出されていたラーメンを2つ頼んだが片方は何か味の大元となる調味料の入れ忘れなのか ただの薄い醤油味のラーメンで全く異なる味のラーメンが来た。2つ同時に作ると考えるけど1つだけ入れ忘れるとかあるのか？と疑問すぎる間違い。 あと雑な仕事をするひとがいる。お寿司の仕上がりのヒドいものがある。昨日も軍艦を頼んだら頼んだものと違ううえに、具は少ないのに汚く垂れ落ち海苔はヨレて「これを商品として出す？」というレベル。バイトが日曜日に嫌々作っているのか？と考察したくなるくらいのお寿司が いくつか出てくるのを無くして欲しい。炙りとか全く炙られていない。安いお寿司だけど最低限そこは商品として成り立つカタチで出して欲しい。 それでも近いので たまーに行くけど「今回は何事もなく食事ができますように」と家族全員思いながら向かう。 改善してください。
