One of the best Cafe ole I had in while and the fluffy pancakes with whipped cream came with orange compote and honey on the side, delicious! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. If you take the rope way, don’t miss this cafe. It’s probably even worth taking the rope way just to go...

2月末に下田に旅行に行ったときに立ち寄りました。 寝姿山も初めて知り、ロープウェイで登りました。 下りて通路を進んでいたらチラシを配るシェフ(？)が…チラッと店内を覗くと、すごくオシャレで広々していて、ぜひ立ち寄りたいと思いました。 でも高そうだなぁと思い、チラシを見ると、コーヒー400円、パスタ1000円など、お手頃価格！ 雰囲気も良さそうで、子連れもウェルカムな感じでした。

寝姿山を一周し(すごくよかった！草花も手入れされていてきれいで、景色も最高！)、いざ入店。 先にレジ前で注文＆支払いし、好きな席に座ると後から店員さんが商品を持ってきてくれます。 当日は暖かかったので、テラス席へ。ひとつのテーブルに海を見るように椅子が2つずつおいてありましたが、3人だったのですぐにシェフ(？)が追加の机と椅子を並べてくれました。 頼んだのは、桃のかき氷と手むきみかんジュース、ホットコーヒーです。 ホットコーヒーは飲みやすいまろやかな味で美味しかったです。 みかんジュースは超濃厚で、みかんをまるごと食べているような感じ！市販のものとは比べ物にならないですね。これこそ100％みかんジュース。 桃のかき氷はフワフワで、シロップも桃がゴロッと入っていてとても美味しく、普段は甘いものを食べない夫が美味しい美味しいともりもり食べてました。 同じようなものを東京で1500円で食べたような…ここでは600円でした。

またぜひ立ち寄りたいと思います。 今度はカレーやパスタなどの食事をしたいです。 ロープウェイを利用した人しか来ないけど大丈夫だろうかと心配になるくらい気に入りました（笑） でも、ロープウェイを利用した人だけが来れる特別なカフェってことにもなりますね。
