Great little local unagi restaurant. The older couple that runs the restaurant are extremely nice and friendly. I ordered the toku unaju, and it was delicious. The fresh unagi was grilled to perfection, and it was not overly sauced. The soup provided had a wonderful smokey flavor to it. I highly recommend this little mom pop shop if you want to try live high-quality unagi.

A genuine mom & pop Unagi-ya with a long history and a loyal following. The delicious eel is grilled perfectly, the skin is charred. Their sukemono is also special. You will enjoy everything to the last grain of rice!

ありのまま書きます 入店早々白蒲重を注文 白焼重もあり名前が似ててちょっと不安だったので何回か念押しして待つこと10分位 鰻ってそんな早く調理できるん？と思いつつ 出てきたのは白焼重 違いますと伝えてお重を下げさせ まさか一度焼いたものにタレつけたりさらに焼いたり使いまわさないだろうなと見ていたら 予想外すぎるそれ以上のとんでも展開、、、 なぜかピンときていない面持ちだったので何回か説明してお母さんも蒲焼を作ればいいんだよと何度言っても焼く気配がなく 全く何が何だかよくわかってない様子 やっと動いたと思ったら鰻の半分をお重から取り出し切り始め四等分程にしてお重に戻す 次になぜかきゅうりの漬物を切り出し鰻の上に乗せる さらに奈良漬のような物を出してきて切ってそれも乗せる 茹でしらすを出してきて散りばめる 蓋を閉めて 「はいよ、大丈夫だから」 ドユコト？？？？？？？？？ もう怖すぎて帰りますと告げて店を後にしました 完全に認知症でしょう 注文したものが出てきたとしてもそんなわけのわからなくなった人が作ったものは怖くて口に入れられないのでこの店...
