Namaste Nippon — Restaurant in Shizuoka

I have been a regular customer at Namaste Nippon for several years. Obviously the food and service is excellent (and warm and caring owners) but they also have a space dedicated to sales of ingredients and Indian/ Nepalese food and spice in general. You can find very good Basmati rice here and hard-to-find spices for home cooking . The owner will take time to explain how to cook with these products (in English or Japanese).

Best Indian / Nepali food that we have tried in Japan. And we have been to quite a number in Tokyo, and Osaka. Certainly we did not expect the best in this quaint part of Japan but we were pleasantly surprised.
