This hotel is situated near the JR station, so it's convenient. At check-in they will give you coupons, one for a free drink and another one for a free breakfast. They also provide some kind of free dinner if you drink at the restaurant.
The room itself is not super big but I've seen smaller in Japan. In it you will find a large (and comfy) bed, a desk with a fridge below. There is also a kettle in a drawer. Amenities are available on 1F. The shower in the room is really nice (good pressure/temperature) and there is a fancy washlet.
There are also public baths (1F), which is a plus.
Overall it was a pleasant place to stay, the only thing that did bother me is the fact that you have to carry a towel from your room to the public bath, they gave me one body towel so it's not super convenient if you bath in the evening and shower in...

The breakfast is not what was offered online; availability and quality fall way short. The rooms definitely need better cleaning, the dust and grime are evident throughout. That said, when we leave a sign "Do not clean room" hanging outside our door, they should heed it. Although they promote eco intentions, very little is evident. They would rather skimp on throne size to economise on space, which leaves pretty much anyone with a normal size butt no room to spare for anything else. Read moreNot very pleased with experience here. Assigned a smokers room though I dpecified non smoking when booking my trip. Receptionist advised all non smoking rooms were already assigned. After a request that they accommodate me in an alternative hotel then, a 'single' room was available. As by now I was travelling solo I acceoed, to find ot had a double bed. This room was clesn fresh and comfortable and adequately serviced me for my single night stay. The free breakfast in the morning was adequate and though mainly Japonese in style, was no way comparable to other Japanese breakfasts I had on this trip.
