Tequila's Diner — Restaurant in Shizuoka

I really hate being negative. I used to like this place. But it's been the second bad experience in the raw. Unfortunately I won't be back. I have had enough. First of all, the staff is rather cold, and does not make me feel welcome. Anyway, the staff is just here to run the food and clear the tables. As you order through a QR code.

Secondly, at dinner time, you have to order a drink. If you don't, they will ask you to. Pushing people to consume and spend money . Thirdly, the food. I ordered a jalapeno... i couldn't taste any. When I opened my burger, I Just saw a few tiny pieces of jalapeno. I had some chunky,/ chewy bites. The burger tasted very bland, no seasoning no sauce, the salad tasted as if I was eating grass. Then my friend found a 3 cm long piece of cartilage in his patty . We called a staff (they're not server, remember, only food runner and busser). It seemed like we were bothering her. She didn't even apologize. Then a cook came over. He explained that they grind their own meat, and said it happens sometimes to have pieces of cartilage. Then left. How can't you see such a big chunk of cartilage during the whole process of patty making then cooking. That was the worse dining experience that I have had in a long time. It's a shame, the place looks great. Dishes look good in pictures.... I hate to say that, but I won't be back ever again. I know much better places in town to enjoy a tasty burger served by...

We are tourists staying around. We arrived late and picked this bar and restaurant randomly.

The burgers here quite surprised me with good taste and sizeable burger. We ordered double cheeseburger and cheese’n’chili burger and both are great.

Lastly, I would like to appreciate the young lady server there, she tried very hard using English to explain the minimum charge arrangement of ordering drink for each person along with the food. She is kind and drew pictures showing me what she wanted to say. We understood and didn’t have any bad feeling for min charge and we ordered drinks at the end.

The waitress was really nice and polite I liked her a lot. The atmosphere is fantastic too. I ordered a double burger but it was extremely chewy at parts. I guess this may be changed more recently based off some of the other reviews.

It was $2,500 yen for a double burger and a Coke but I should have just got the single burger because he didn't taste very good and having two patties made it...
