Vert Clair — Restaurant in Shizuoka

I have purchased sweets from this establishment twice, once at the store itself and another at a pop-up store and both times the desserts were very good. However, I would not buy anything from this shop a third time due to the appalling service that I recieved at their pop-up shop. The owner/chef(?) was serving customers and a part-time(?) staff member was packing the goods. Despite myself and my wife waiting patiently and being next in line, the owner decided it would be acceptable to take an order from another customer. While I can understand that in these busy situations people may simply try to cut the line, the owner made no effort to tell the customer to wait and didn't apologise to us despite making us wait longer to be served. When an apology did come, it was from the seemingly part-time staff. I have always regarded service at stores in Shizuoka to be exceptional, so you can imagine my shock that we would be treated in such an appalling manner. Shizuoka is full of very good cakes shops and many of them are not as expensive as this one. While the sweets may be good, the service from the staff at this shop is appalling and I will not be paying a further visit to the store or any pop-ups...

2024.10.27 以前からお店があるのは知っていましたが、本日が初訪問でした。 スーパーBIGの南側に隣接しています。 お買い物帰りにも寄りやすい場所。

入店すると目の前がショーケース。 オーソドックスなショートケーキやモンブランだけでなく、普段あまり目にしないケーキが煌びやかに並んでいました。

ケーキがご馳走だった子供時代の名残なのか、昭和から続くオーソドックスなケーキが好みのため、和栗のモンブラン・昔のプリン・レモンケーキを選びましたが、せっかく来たからと思い食べたことがないジバララクテをテイクアウト。

初めて食べたジバララクテは、チョコレートケーキに比べて甘すぎず、キャラメルでコーティングされた内側は滑らかで美味しかったです。 レモンケーキはレモンの風味が鮮烈！ ウイスキーのお供に美味しくいただきました。

美味しいケーキ屋さんが知れて嬉しかった。 贈り物に重宝しそうな焼菓子やチョコレートも充実していたので、公私に渡りこれから通いたいと思います。 お会計にはPayPayが使えました...

自分の誕生日祝いにちょっといいケーキが食べたいと思い、来店。店内でケーキセットをいただきました。 とてもおしゃれな店内で、ケーキもどれも宝石のように綺麗です。ケーキは小ぶりですが、断然量より質！といった感じで、ひとつひとつが丁寧でした。夏の新作ケーキ(名前はとてもオシャレで覚えられず…)をいただきましたが、柑橘の爽やかな風味としっかりしたレアチーズケーキの味わい、タルトも程よいザクザク感でバターの香りがしっかりしていて、とても美味しかったです。 店内にイートインスペースがあり、店内でケーキを食べることができます。ケーキセットで注文すると、ドリンク(コーヒー、紅茶、その他ソフトドリンク)を付けることができます。カウンター席とテーブル席があり、数名で来店してお茶会もいいなあと思いました。 今回はケーキセットにしましたが、他にも店内にはチョコレートや焼き菓子のギフトもあり、バレンタインなどのイベントで贈り物を選ぶのにもとてもよさそうです。大通り沿いで寄りやすいので、また...
