Sushi Dining さくら川 — Restaurant in Sumoto

Just spend the time before taking bus to Osaka. We looked into google and find most of the restaurants take rest on Tuesday. My wife picked this restaurant and for convenience. When arrived the restaurant just opened and with no English menu. We don’t have much expectation and just pray for the food taste fair and picked 3 different lunch sets. Normal lunch, Superior lunch and Banquet lunch. But when we eat the lunch, it completely surprised us. All seafood sushi is so fresh, squid and octopus serve with thick cut but not hard to chew. Eel sushi taste good with sauce / fire burnt. Fish sushi, like snapper, toro and hamachi, freshness is even better than the Sumoto Hot Spring hotels one. Rice were just hold with a right squeeze and you won’t feel to tight or too loose. The tempura are deep fried with right temperature and the batter is thin but crispy. Red miso soup boil with mushroom and seaweed, tasty yummy but not salty. My family all likes the fruit plate, even the serve is small, but the orange taste very sweet and give refreshes to mouth feel.
