Saba SABAR + Tajimiten — Restaurant in Tajimi

I love mackerel and I loved the grilled mackerel, rice and soup set meal I had today for lunch in Sabar Tajimi 4. But.. slow, sloppy service and intrusive rap/hiphop music 2 . Slow service: our three set meals arrived one after the other, with long gaps between. I understand that 'all meals served at the same time' is more of a European way, but even so: this was extreme. Other requests (eg: doggy bag please) took a long time to fulfil even though we gave notice of this at the start. Taking our money at the end was done quickly though. Sloppy service: rice / soup served on the wrong sides of the tray. Music: too loud, and since when is rap/hiphop likely to make food more delicious for most people? With five staff working there (not many more than the number of customers), we couldn't understand the poor service. I saw staff hanging around instead of being busy and checking on / serving customers. I concluded: they are not well organised here. I probabaly won't return, in spite of...

休日の17時にお邪魔しました。

2022年3月8日、サバの日にオープンしたさば料理専門店。 数年前、テレビでもよく取り上げられていたのでご存じの方も多いお店ですね。

あの鯖ブームから4年近く経ちましたが、県内2店舗目に選んだのがまさか多治見とは。 いや、近くにできてありがたいなぁと思う反面、お店のことを考えると、大垣とかにしといたほうがいいのに、という思いもあり…。 立地も立地で、駅前ではあるものの長続きしない立地なんですよね。 ホント、数年で居酒屋が撤退を繰り返しているので、大丈夫かなぁと心配になります。

さて、オープン最初の週末。 開店と同時に入店しましたが、入口で「アルコールの提供ができない」との説明が。

あれ？ 緩和されたから20時まではできるんじゃないの？ と思いましたが、単純にアルコール提供の申請が遅れているとのことで、これは新規オープンでは痛いミス。 また、クレジットカードもまだ使えなくて、支払いは現金のみ。 いや、なかなかお粗末な門出。

立地云々よりも以前の部分で心配が大きいですね。

とりあえずカルテット盛合せとさば寿司ハーフ、ノンアルコールで乾杯。

盛合せはとろさばお造りが美味しい。 ただ、盛合せに合わせて薬味を載せてるんだから、コレにはわさび、コレには生姜、コレにはミョウガを合わせるとオススメ、くらいの説明はするべきかな。

さば寿司は3種類とも美味。 醤油とか無かったから盛合せ用の醤油をつけて食べたけど、何もつけずに食べるのが正解だったのかな？ これも説明なかったからよくわからない。
