KIX BEER — Restaurant in Tajiri

Oh, goodness, let's be honest. Kansai airport doesn't have enough food places to support the number of people going through.

Faced with enormous lines at the other two takeout places in this terminal, I really wanted to sit down, so I took the overpriced option.

I ordered the beef tendon (¥1800), which was actually delish. But more than double what I paid for most meals in Japan 😂 I got a rice on the side (¥500) because I was trying to make a meal, and the cheapest beer was ¥1500.

It's a total rip-off, but options are sparse. All in all, I'm content with my fee to sit for an hour not at a gate 🤷‍♀️

They don't even offer water, which is a bit sad.

Utterly disappointing last meal before departing Japan. The ‘meat’ portion was stingy for the price, and the presentation did nothing to make up for the lackluster taste. I had a rude shock when they handed me both plates with 3 pieces of ‘meat’ on each and the pictures taken were AFTER I questioned them about the ridiculousness of it. I say ‘meat’ because they were essentially fat bits. Overall, an absolute letdown and not worth the premium price. Makes me question their (non-existent) Japanese...

The service was terrible at first or I could say there was no service at all— no one gave us menus after we sat down. Even worse, they ignored our “excuse me” every time, no matter how many times we tried in different languages. Also they rejected us the demand of a cup of water, you have to buy it at the cashier.
