A cozy, family-run ramen spot with a truly local vibe in Takachiho. I ordered the miso ramen and asked for a vegetarian version (no pork) with a boiled egg—and it was delicious! The broth was full of flavor, and the egg was perfectly cooked. All that for under 1000 yen per person. Thy offered also free tea, so we did not order any drink.
The place is super clean and managed by a kind couple who greeted us with warm smiles. I wish I could’ve chatted with them more! There were also some locals dining in, which always feels like a good sign.
No wait when we arrived. There are about 3-4 tables in the main space, a small counter for five, and an extra room inside with two more tables—great use of space for such a small spot. Menus are available in English, and just a heads-up: they accept cash only.
