Room Room — Restaurant in Takatsuki

This is the best food experience I have had during my 2 weeks in Japan, the service was impeccable and we were made to feel like royalty the entire evening. The building itself is so quaint and authentic you have to see it to experience it. The food was like nothing I have had in Japan, each course was a new taste and texture journey and the green tea has made all other green teas seem tasteless. We had a selection of top shelf Sake during the evening which simply added the final touches to a magnificent dining experience. Amazing food, exceptional service, beautiful location, friendly staff. This was a 10/10 dining experience! I went with my husband for our 1 year anniversary and we were not disappointed. We had the course set menu with crab. Everything was so carefully prepared, and incredibly fresh and flavoursome. Each course was explained to us in careful detail, and the head chef even came in to dress a piece of tuna nigiri at our table (on the house!) We had a private room, but there are also some counter seats too! Will definitely be back again! (We were soooo full by the end of the meal!) If you love seafood you will love room...

誕生日のお祝いで予約させていただき、初めの利用でした。駅に着いてから徒歩で向かったのですが、え？あってる？というほど階段を上がったり降りたりして、すごい場所にありました。

日本全国いろいろな場所で会席料理を食べてきましたが、本当に最高のお料理の数々で、ここまでしっかり味わって食事をさせていただいたのは久しぶりでした。

自分もサービス業の経営者なので、よそのお店の接客がいつも気になりますが、こちらのお店はとてもホスピタリティが高く、気配りの素晴らしいお店でした。

おまけでトロの海苔巻きをくださり、お祝いで誕生日の歌まで歌ってくださり、至れり尽くせりでした。 また必ず利用したいと思います。

一点だけ、生ビールを頼んだ時と、お冷をいれてくださる容器が全く同じ、金属のコップだったのですが、金属臭が酷く、鼻がいい自分からすると、ビールの麦の匂いが金属臭に邪魔されたりして、少し嫌でした。

冷たい状態が持続するからあのコップなのだと思いますが、繊細なお料理を出されているわけですし、ある程度口の肥えたお客様しかいないと思いますし、少なくともビールは風味を楽しむものなので、普通のガラスのコップで出して欲しいです。
