CoCo Ichibanya — Restaurant in Takeo

The food just wasn't very good. Tonkatsu curry rice, plus one fried shrimp. The fried shrimp was pretty good, the tonkatsu was slightly below average and the batter kept falling off.

And the curry? I don't know why people have told me it's good. I didn't think it was any better than a grocery store curry block.

And it's pricey compared to what you can get elsewhere around here.

The staff was friendly and efficient. One staff was awkwardly stocking or looking for something, standing too close to me for too long, and that made me a little uncomfortable for a few minutes.

I LIKE the ordering system, and the spice level was good - pretty spicy, and you can choose it. Tsukemono included was nice. But yeah, I feel the cost performance...

2023.5.14.お昼に初訪問。 駐車場は店舗前にあるが、お昼は結構満車気味。 入り口の待ち客リストに名前を書いて待つ様に指示されるが、カウンター席に空き席が６つもあり、何故通さないのか疑問。 見ていると、テイクアウトのカレーを梱包していたが、お客を通すのは一言でいいはず。待たせることに何の意味があるのかわからない。(もう別のお店に行こうかと思った。) ようやく席に着いて、見るとタブレットがある。店員さんいわく「注文は直接でもタブレットからでも出来ます。」ん？それじゃあタブレットの意味無くね？ 手仕込みカツカレーをいただいた。 まあ、カレーは普通のCoCo壱カレーで、品質に変わりはない。 香辛料のパウダーが言わないと出てこない。(他所もそうだがパウダー缶をしまいこんでいる。本部からの指導か。) スタッフが一生懸命働いてる感はあるが、お客ファーストとは言いきれず、空回りしているなと思った。 お客の多い...
