I live in this neighborhood and wanted to try this place out for a while so I made reservations when friends come visit. They told me all the courses need to reserve a day in advance but omakase is available. I’m quite disappointed as the fish wasn’t fresh enough, taste was ok not even as good as other 7000yen- sushi course. Service was poor, not welcoming not attentive at all, the staff didn’t even tell us when the course was end. It took forever until next dish, no water or tea was served to us until we asked( it took very long even after I asked), the restaurant wasn’t busy with a few customers, I’m not sure if they prioritized other Japanese customers over us. They seem didn’t notice when we are leaving, no one said thank you, I didn’t feel welcomed and there’s no hospitality. Besides, I have never had omakase finished with just sushi, there wasn’t miso soup or even tea or dessert included. The price is 12,000/ person, we had maybe 2 appetizers, a fried dish, A small plate of sashimi and 9 sushi. I definitely had better experience for this price.
For all the reasons mentioned, I’ll not come back even it’s walking distance and I don’t recommend it to anyone. Since it’s a local place maybe not many foreigners will see this review so I’ll post on...
Read moreA hidden gem. Most tourists wouldn't bother coming out this way, however it is only a 15 minute train ride from Shibuya. This restaurant recently won a Michelin bib gourmand award, and the sushi was amazing. The omakase was reasonably priced, and worth every penny. Even though there was a language barrier, the chef was extremely hospitable and gracious. Definitely one of the best parts of our...

I would gladly come back here again and will definitely recommend it to others. The Uni was the best I've had in...
