The quaint bakery is on the street by the rails and before I did my grocery, I decided to check it out. I was so excited mainly because of the reviews plus I know that Japanese sweets are so decadently prepared and painstakingly designed. I arrive there and the cakes and pastries look amazing. (Both the ones I bought were delicious) Why am I giving it 2 stars then? Because of the very rude service - as soon as I got in, no welcome even and just pretended I didn’t exist. When I finally ordered in Japanese, he did not pay attention and had to repeat my order twice. Just the overall vibe that he’d rather sell to someone else than a non-Japanese. So yep, even though the stuff look yummy etc, a huge no to AWFUL customer service. I guess that is Fussa omotenashi ne. Terrible.

20数年ぶりの福生市。 街並みもすっかり変わったけど、洋菓子の老舗【ミノン】は変わらないどころか[加美ミノン】という本当の親子店が出来ていたのでお土産にマンゴーショコラ、キャラメルショコラ、抹茶レアチーズを購入。 食した感想は、素材の良さを生かしたバランスの良い美味しさ。 甘さ控えめで軽い食感と見た目も食をそそる綺麗なケーキは他も色々食べてみたいと思いました。 前に住んでいた砧エリアではマルメゾンやムランガー樹などが閉店するなど洋菓子店も経営が大変な世界だと思います。 福生市も昔は大手チェーン店などもありましたけど残っているのは、この味のみ。 本当に美味しいケーキ屋です。

福生ロールを、展示してある現品とポスターを見て注文しました。 (ロールケーキは予約必須です。税込2000円でした) 実物はクリームの量がかなり少なく感じます。 また、フルーツはイチゴとブルーベリーのみでした。 スポンジは以前購入したチョコロールの時は硬めで、クリームも少なかったので食べるのが困難でしたが、今回スポンジはそれよりも軽めで食べやすかったです。 ただ、もう少しクリームが多いと思っていたのでそこは残念でした。 こちらのケーキ屋さんでは、ロールケーキよりは通常のケーキの方が美味しい品が多いな、と思います。

青梅方面へのサイクリングの際に、糖分補給と気分転換を兼ねて寄らせて貰ってます。 運動の途中なので、注文後に新鮮なクリームを入れてくれるサクサク生地の美味しい！シュークリーム1つとコーヒー一杯しか買えず、売り上げには貢献できないんですが、温厚なご主人さんは作業を止めて気持ちよく接して下さいます。聞き上手なので会話も楽しませてもらってます。店内にはオリジナルの焼き菓子が充実しており、どれもとても美味しそうです。駅からは少し離れてますが、車が停めやすい立地なのでお客さんが入れ替わり立ち替わりで来ます。地元に愛されている良店です。 ローディーの皆様、ブレークの際は是非立ち寄っていただき、店内で立食か表のカフェテーブルでケーキとコーヒーでマタ...

店主さんは真面目で職人気質な感じ。売れるものよりも喜ばれる事や納得した物を１番に考えるような方です。

エクレアは、注文してからクリームを入れてくれるのでサクサクで美味しい。

てんさい糖、洗双糖、なかざわの生クリーム、よつ葉バターなど材料にこだわっている。

他のケーキは、見た目は地味だけど、断面が何層にもなっていてキレイでビックリ(味も美味しい)

イラストケーキを頼んだ時は、忠実に再現していて、ビックリした＆ここまで求めていないのに申し訳ない気持ちになる位のインパクト。(ただのイラストでなく絵画で、細かい所は省いてOKと伝えていた)
