I didn't really like this place. The staff were nice enough, but they weren't really with it. They didn't really give us chopsticks or oshibori or serviettes to wipe our mouths. We ended up having to use our own. They also have this weird thing where you are forced to order monjayaki which was weird for an izakaya. We were like 'Can we just order other dishes that are not Monjayaki?'. They were like 'No, you have to eat monjayaki'. It was so weird. The food was generally okay but the yakiton was so overcooked that it was more like jerkey. They didn't have change to give at the end so we had to get some coins together to help them. Seems a bit disorganised. The toilet doesn't flush properly and isn't the cleanest. We were all Japanese speakers but we were a bit confused with...

This is by far the best place for a night drink and delicious food I had in Tokyo. The staff is so friendly even if they dont speak English they tried their very best to let us know what is great in the shop.

Super cute restaurant. They serve monja at the table. The menu is only in Japanese but they really are polite and put up with you not knowing Japanese. Google monja before you go down there or use google lens on the menu because you may not have a cell signal in the basement. Delightful little place with great drinks and yummy food....
