暮らしのいろいろ ていねいに、 — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is going to be a real challenge to review. Google Maps said it was closed, but it caught my eye as I was walking. That was after I finally got Google Maps to recognize it under the Japanese name, but it also has the English name of Hulot. The layout is four seats at a counter in front, but about 10 or 15 people could sit in the back at what used to be a tea ceremony room. No Wi-Fi or charging, but there are a bunch of books in the back room. It's a no shoes place with a rack by the door.

What caught my eye was a rhubarb pie in the window, but I thought it was a quiche. Quite tasty, in spite of all the jokes on Prairie Home Companion. Server never heard of the radio program and I thought rhubarb pie was only a joke because of the song. I'll call it a high 4 stars in spite of the...
