This spot is a gem—super foreigner-friendly but clearly loved by the locals too. Chef Kazu is an absolute legend. He’s got a great sense of humor, makes you feel right at home, and somehow still manages to craft sushi that’s next-level delicious. You can tell he genuinely cares about every guest, and that vibe just fills the whole place. I always go for the set meal—it never misses. Hearing that he’s been doing this for over 30 years honestly doesn’t surprise me. The man’s a master. If you’re in Japan and want incredible sushi with an unforgettable personal touch, this...

The most fun I've had going to dinner, met new friends and had outstanding sushi. Was a blast chatting with the owners. A local establishment you must try.

Update: I have been coming here for over 5 years now, Kazu-San is a great friend and the entire staff is wonderful to talk to. The food is top notch, there may be better sushi places out there, but I haven't found any yet. Kazu's place is...

This place is definitely worth visiting. The largest group you can bring is 3-4 people. The entire establish seats maybe 7 or 8 people total. They have a very limited menu but the sushi is the best I've had locally yet (and you pay for it). While it was a little pricey it was definitely worth the experience and the sushi was very fresh...

I barely speak Japanese but the restaurant offers great atmosphere and amazing hospitality despite the language challenges. We had sashimi and the omakase set and it was very delicious. We will definitely come back.
