Very cute dessert, and brunch café in the middle of a farm field. It also has an adjacent honey harvest/museum facility that sells a large variety of locally produced honey. I actually went here for lunch but unfortunately they don’t serve food anymore. So I just got some gelato topped with honey and it was very good. While you’re there check out the museum and sample some of the honey. You can buy honey to take home if you like. It’s a really unique place to visit,...

焼き肉を食べた後にアイスでも食べたいなと思いながら走っていたところに「はちみつジェラート」と書かれた案内板を見つけて入店。はちみつジェラート460円と、はちみつジンジャエール450円を注文。前金制。 はちみつジェラートは、レジで支払い後に何種類かあるジェラートを選択すると、店員さんが紙カップに盛り付けてくれ、そこに蜂蜜がかけられる。飲み物はテーブルに運んでくれた。 東京牛乳のジェラートは砂糖未使用で、甘みは蜂蜜のみとなる。その提供方法に異論はないのだが...　蜂蜜の量が足りない！ 冷たいジェラートを最後までおいしく食べるには、少なくとも倍の量の蜂蜜が必要だと思った。蜂蜜そのものは上質な感じでおいしかったが、量が少なすぎて少々残念な感じだった。 はちみつジンジャエールはしっかり生姜の味がしたが、これも蜂蜜が少なすぎる。蜂蜜がウリなのだろうから、もっと蜂蜜を味わせてほしかった。 そんな訳で...　う〜ん、再訪はないかなあ。 注意点が一つ！ もし自分と同じ用にジェラートとはちみつジンジャエールを注文したなら、必ずジンジャエールを飲み終えてからジェラートを食べ始めたほうがよい。逆にすると、ジンジャエールは生姜の辛味しか感じられない味となってしまう。 カフェの隣のはちみつミュージアムでは蜂蜜にまつわる様々な展示とともに、蜂蜜も売られていた。本物の蜂蜜作りには膨大な手間と時間と費用を要するので、販売価格も高くなってしまうのは理解できるが、自分には贅沢すぎると感じられ、何も買わずに店を後にした。
