Three very weak more like two stars. First time I got their carrot cake at Isetan British fair. The cake was small and not spicy as claimed. The second time I wanted to buy elderflower lemon cake at Mitsukoshi. I lined up for over 20 minutes just to find out that the cake was sold out but they just didn't care to take off the price tag, so it seemed like they still had some. Also, why did I wait for 20 minutes? Because they work like nobody is waiting aka super slow. I wanted to try elderflower cake anyway, so the next time I was able to buy it. Again it was a super tiny little piece of cake but it cost over 750 yen!! And it was not good. It did not have any special flavor. Super disappointed in their cakes and their attitude.

A very pleasant afternoon tea, the scones and sponges were delicious - a little strange having milk tea from the pot but the regular teas were delicious. Authentic in taste although portions much smaller than the UK!

浜田山にある可愛いカフェです。 歩いて2,3分の駅前にあります。ピンクの可愛らしい扉を開くと2階に上がる階段が。そこを上がると女の子が好きそうな可愛らしい空間が広がっています。 店の中に入ると目の前に広がるのは美味しそうなケーキを飾ってあるショーケースです。ショーケース左手側に販売している紅茶やティーセットなど。 中に入るとすぐに店員さんが来て下さりました。 この日は空いていたため、のんびりプリンセスティーセットにしました。 選んだのはディンブラ。香りも良く美味しかったです。ポットサービスのためたっぷり2杯半いただけます。 1杯目の紅茶を楽しんでいるうちにプリンセスセットが到着しました。 上段のアイスとケーキとクッキー。美味しかったです。 下段にスコーンとクロテッドクリーム、ストロベリージャム。 プリンセスティーセット食べおる頃にまだ時間があったため、2杯目の紅茶をお願いすることにしました。 2杯目からはお値段より200円引きです。 見たことの無いお茶をお願いしよーと思い、ダージリンファーストフラッシュを。 1番摘みの若葉だけあって、薄めの日本茶のような若々しい香りでした。 たっぷり2時間ちょっと楽しめて2000円弱。ありがたい幸せな時間でした。 店内は綺麗なオルゴールが流れてるため心地よくお過ごしいただけると思います。 また定期的に行けたらいいなぁ。

What a wonderful find! So close to Hamadayama station. A much needed stop in the heat and humidity. The interior is inviting and sweet, clean and plus air-conditioned! The staff are friendly, they are happy to accommodate using Google translate to speak in English. The iced tea was ideal and typical of good British style tea. The scones are spot on and remind me of home. Will be heading back again soon. Would...
